CANDEY wins appeal in New York’s Second Circuit

Two members of CANDEY’s US team, Josh Ray and Ellen-Louise Moens, have secured victory for a leading pharmaceutical data entrepreneur in a breach of contract appeal before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York.  The case, Barshay v. Naithani (23-382), involved flawed claims brought against CANDEY’s client, all of which were disputed. The case was dismissed at the district court level, a decision unanimously upheld on appeal.  The Second Circuit’s decision re-affirmed the Court’s strong policy in favor of enforcing releases, and will stand as an important precedent moving forward.
