Leading London litigation firm CANDEY has opened a new office in the British Virgin Islands

Based at the Coastal Building in Road Town, on Tortola, the office is led by Lisa Walmisley with the support of Dainyah Mason and Canya Stoddard.

Lisa Walmisley has been practising in the BVI for almost 5 years prior to which she was a Barrister in independent practise in the UK at the bar for nearly 20 years.

Barristers Kartik Sharma, Managing Partner Ashkhan Candey and Joint Head of Litigation, Andrew Dunn, are all entitled to practise in the BVI and will be based in London.

We have been working with the BVI and Eastern Caribbean jurisdiction for 10 years”, says Ashkhan Candey. There is a wealth of opportunity here with very interesting cases and a real opportunity to provide our global clients with global solutions. As a conflict free litigation boutique our lawyers work with co-counsel throughout the world: our ability to provide English and BVI representation under one shop, is of real attraction to international counsel, particularly those based in the US and Far East” .
