Kate completed her undergraduate degree in English Literature at Trinity College Dublin and her MA and PhD in History at Durham University. During her PhD, she focussed on Anglo-Saxon and Old Norse history and literature, and she later lectured in Old Norse at UCL. Kate was awarded her PgDL with Distinction in 2023 by the University of Law. She completed her Bar Practice Course at the University of Law with a High Distinction and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2024.
