David graduated with a first-class degree in Law from the University of Cambridge and read for the BCL at the University of Oxford. He went on to undertake judicial assistantships in the Court of Appeal and High Court, and has recently completed the Bar Vocational Studies course at City University of London, for which he was awarded a major scholarship by Middle Temple as well as the 2023 Lechmere Essay Prize. David balanced the Bar course alongside teaching undergraduate seminars in Law at the University of Middlesex. He is fluent in Spanish, and has experience working in an American law firm on investor-State claims brought against South American countries.
