Solicitor
Petar is a Solicitor Advocate with experience in complex and high-value commercial disputes before the English High Court and under a variety of institutional arbitration rules (LCIA, ICC, ICSID, Swiss Rules, UNCITRAL and ad hoc). His work mostly involves a cross-border element, in particular relating to Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan (and other CIS countries) and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining CANDEY Petar worked at dispute resolution boutiques and a US law firm in London (UK) and as an assistant to a prominent Swiss arbitrator in Geneva (Switzerland). Petar holds a Master in international affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva, Switzerland) and a double degree (LLB/Maîtrise) in English and French law from the University of Leicester (UK) and the University of Strasbourg (France). In addition to English, Petar is fluent in Bulgarian, Russian and French.
