Lilit Nagapetyan - Solicitor

Lilit is a dual-qualified solicitor with experience in large-scale cross-border and domestic commercial litigations and high-value international commercial arbitration proceedings (LCIA, ICC, UNCITRAL etc). Her experience encompasses injunctions (both in the context of international arbitration and litigation), contractual breaches, fraud claims, partnership disputes, and enforcing foreign judgments and arbitral awards. She has also assisted clients in resolving disputes through ADR including mediation, expert determination, negotiation.

Lilit is also a chartered accountant (ACA) and certified fraud examiner with considerable experience in forensic quantum analysis in the context of commercial disputes in a variety of industries including renewable energy, construction, telecommunications, and natural resources. She has previously practised with a top-10 accounting firm in London where she has been involved in a wide range of litigation and arbitration disputes, as well as EC and CMA Monitoring Trustee mandates.

She is a Teaching Associate in international commercial litigation and international arbitration at Queen Mary University of London (School of International Arbitration) where she also pursues her PhD. She has published on various topics in international arbitration including challenges to enforcement of arbitral awards, confidentiality in commercial arbitration, and corruption in international arbitration.

Lilit is fluent in Russian and French and has a working knowledge of several other languages.
